In 1949, by order of the Minister of Dairy Industry of the RSFSR, an order was issued to build a mechanized dairy plant in Ulan-Ude;

The volume of processing was 2 thousand tons of milk per year, 25 people worked at the plant;

Later the plant received the status of a dairy plant and significantly increased its processing volumes.
